Born in New York, Donovan is known for her large-scale intallations and sculptures made from everyday objects. Her major accolades include the MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Award and the Calder Prize. Her work has been featured at venues such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, UCLA Hammer Museum, and Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, Denmark, and more. She is currently represented by Pace, and has been since 2005.
