Artist: Stephen Brigidi (American, b. 1951)
American photography, collagist, and drawer. Brigidi received his MFA at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1976. He was later a Fulbright-Hays Fellow, a MacDowell Colony fellow, and has received fellowships for photography from the National Endowment for the Arts. He began teaching photography in 1979 at multiple universities including Rhode Island School of Design, Rhode Island College, and University of Hawaii. Brigidi is currently an adjunct professor at Roger Williams University. His works reside in many museums such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, and other national and international venues.
