Scott Eagle is the Assistant Director of the School of Art and Design and an Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He also received his BFA and MFA from East Carolina University. His practice spans traditional and digital media, with paintings and illustrations appearing in publications such as The New York Times, Wired, and numerous books. Eagle approaches art as a mode of inquiry—an active process of thinking through making—allowing his work to emerge from experimentation, curiosity, and sustained visual exploration.
