  • Artist: Ronald King (British, b. 1932)

British visual artist. King was born in São Paulo, Brazil, but moved to England at the age of 12. He attended Ardingly College, Sussex, England (1945) and the Chelsea School of Art (1951). He was the art director at McLean Hunter publishing house, Canada (1959) and taught at Farnham School of Art, UK (1961). He founded Circle Press and works primarily on art books, but is also a painter and sculptor. He prefers not to be pinned down by genre and aims for energy and curiosity in his work.
