  • Artist: Paul Valadez (American, b. 1965)

Paul Valadez (born 1965) is an American artist of Mexican-American heritage. He earned his BFA from The San Francisco Art Institute and his MFA from The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Valadez currently works as a lecturer at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. His paintings explore themes of geography, culture, and social issues, drawing inspiration from his bi-cultural upbringing.
