Artist: Matthew Pillsbury (French-American, b. 1973)
French-American photographer. Born 1973, Pillsbury received his BFA from Yale University and continued to receive a Masters in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts, New York. His long-exposure work often focuses on the passage of time and explores a fascination with technology. Pillsbury has been commissioned by the New York Times and other New York City magazines, where he currently works and resides, and his work is included in the permanent collections at the Guggenheim, the Louvre, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, among others.
