Artist: Martin Levine (American, b. 1945)
American printmaker. Primarily worked in etching, aquatint, and lithography on realistic cityscapes. He has taught at the State University of New York at Stony Brook since 1986. Levine has received numerous awards including the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Printmaking in 1976. His work has been exhibited extensively in international and American juried exhibitions. His drawings can be found in many important collections, such as Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Art Institute of Chicago, Museu D’Art Contemporani D’Eivissa, Spain.
