  • Artist: Joshua White (American, b. 1982)

American artist Joshua White received his MFA from Arizona State University and is an Associate Professor of Art at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. White uses photography, sculpture, and digital technology within his art to address themes of memory, loss, science, and nature. His works have been exhibited nationally, including the PHotoPlace Gallery, Middlebury, VT; SOHO Gallery for Digital Art, New York, NY; and the Desert Botanical Gardens, Phoenix, AZ. White's works have also been published in the Botanicals Exhibition Catalog and Rich Communities: An Anthropology of Appalachian Photographers.
