  • Artist: Joshua White (American, b. 1982)

Received his MFA from Arizona State University and lives and works in West Jefferson, NC. Assistant Professor of Art at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Uses photography, sculpture, and digital technology to address themes of memory, loss, science, and nature. His works have been exhibited nationally, including the PhotoPlace Gallery, Middlebury, VT, SOHO Gallery for Digital Art, NY, and the Desert Botanical Gardens, Phoenix, AZ. Has been published in the Botanicals Exhibition Catalog, and Rich Community: An Anthropology of Appalachian Photographers.
