American sculptor. Born in Brooklyn, New York and later moved to Los Angeles. Attended the Art Center College of Design and Otis Art Institute for his BA and MFA respectively. Joined a group of artists at Otis, who led a revolution in ceramics adopting a radically different style from traditional European sculpture. Focused on pottery and sculpture. Best known for nuanced styles such as functional and sculptural, serious and comic and etc. Taught at California State University, Fullerton and has exhibited at the Laguna Art Museum and many other places.
