Artist: Jan Georg van Vliet (Dutch, 1610-1684)
Born circa 1610 in Leiden, Jan Georg van Vliet was a Dutch etcher and draughtsman. He was active from 1628-1637, with his art career flourishing throughout the 1630s. He worked in Leiden and Delft. Additionally, van Vliet was a pupil and collaborator of the renowned Dutch painter Rembrandt. He died circa 1668.
