Italian painter and engraver from the 16th century. Bonasone studied painting under Lorenzo Sabbatini and engraving under Marcantonio Raimondi. He also asissted Michaelangelo in painting The Last Judgement in the Sistine Chapel. Some of his works are now owned by New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
