Artist: Garo Zareh Antreasian (American, 1920-2018)
Garo Zareh Antreasian (1920–2018) was an American lithographer and printmaker born in America. He studied at the School of the Herron Art Institute and was notable for being the first master printer and technical director at the Tamarind Lithography Workshop, Inc., at Tamarind Institute. Later, he taught art at The University of New Mexico. His works are featured in major institutions including the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the University of New Mexico Fine Arts Museum, the Indianapolis Museum, The Brooklyn Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Museum of Modern Art in New York.
