American photographer. Hunter's works are mainly based in Dallas. She earned her BA in Northwestern University then obtained her MFA in Rhode School of Design. She taught photography at Southern Methodist Universty for 40 years. Her works capture the unique characteristics of a places. She was named the Dallas Art Fair Artist Honoree in 2016.
