Utilized dental forceps, molars, and other instruments to construct his subject matter, and did so in a surrealist style. While a prisoner of war in a camp in Pithiviers, France, Solot met a group of artists who helped him to discover his latent passion of painting. Once returning home, Dr. Solot continued his profession as a dentist, and engaged with painting as leisure.
