Artist: Dame Elisabeth Frink (British, 1930-1993)
A sculptor and printmaker. Frink studied at the Guildford School of Art. Frink's pieces often had natural subjects. She was known for her explorations of the human form, animals, especially horses, and religious figures. She produced many sculptures of humans and animals cast in bronze. In 1996 she was selected to be one of five women featured on stamps in Great Britain.
