Barbara Schreiber (born 1953) is an American artist who earned her BFA in Painting and Drawing from The Maryland Institute College of Art. Schreiber's work has been exhibited at notable institutions, including the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, the Weatherspoon Museum of Art in Greensboro, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in Winston-Salem, and the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah. Her pieces are part of collections at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, among many others. Schreiber has held artist residencies at the McColl Center for Art + Innovation (2021), Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (2020), Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts (2019), and Goodyear Arts (2018). In addition to creating art, she writes about it. She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is represented by Toshkova Fine Art Advisory.
