  • Artist: Arthur Clifton Goodwin (American, 1864-1929)

Arthur Clifton Goodwin became well known for his impressionist paintings of landscapes and cityscapes in the New England area. He was not formally trained as an artist, but became a member of the Guild of Boston Artists and Boston Society of Watercolor Painters, where he exhibited his work. He exhibited in galleries around the northeastern United States during his lifetime. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, hosted a solo retrospective of the artist in 1974..
