Creating art is an effective way to resolve negative emotions.
You can use any medium to accomplish the desired results, even a pencil.
Try this:
Allow yourself to feel the feeling as you begin moving the pencil on a piece of paper. As the lead goes onto the paper, let it match the intensity and direction of the feeling, It’s like the feeling flows out of you onto the paper. Continue drawing (or scribbling) until the feeling resolves itself. If the feeling is intense, it may want to ‘explode’ onto the paper for awhile. Trust the process. You may want to do this with your eyes closed so your mind is not analyzing what it looks like.
