I have always loved containers, those that hold things, to carry objects, can be used as an eating utensil.
From a sculptural series about nests, nature's wonderful containers for the precious. The series explored making hammered metal look like it was satin fabric draping over growing vines . . . as though it was a nest, a holder for something far too precious to simply sit on a branch.
