Hot forged from steel is given a black heat patina and gilded with 23K gold leaf. The method of applying the 23K gold gives it a historical feel, as though it has been around for centuries. It is then sprayed with Permalac, a microfine protectant which bonds to the metals protecting it from time and the elements.
