Hope

"Hope" is from the Conversations with the Stillness series. I have found that in meditating I am having conversations with the stillness. Unhampered by the rest of my life, these conversations leave me contented and grounded. I am recharged and move with purpose.

"Hope" reflects the unlimited power within us to expand into the light, to be enlightened.

As an artist I work both as a metalsmith and as a painter. Painting though reaches into a deeper part of me, it is about pure feeling and emotion. As I put brush and paint to canvas, I surrender to that emotion and let it flow through me. It's not until I've finished the painting that I realize what I was feeling. The words then come to me and I know the truth.
