Domestic violence is a global problem. In the world, the phenomenon of spousal abuse is widespread. A recent survey conducted by the China Women's Federation revealed that 16% of women admitted to being beaten by spouses, and 14.4% of men admitted to abusing their spouses. Each year about 400,000 marriages disintegrate, 25% due to domestic violence. According to current statistics, in 270 million households, women suffering from domestic violence have been as high as 30%.
