Poem transcript:
Eternal
by Gloria Miranda
I'm forever giving
you're forever taking
it makes my heart COLD
Still i overflowing with emotion
just take what you need
I'm eternal. knowing I can make you full
that's MY eternal gift
But why won't you give to me?
Haven't I given enough?
Look AT me
oozing blue with my gray heart
What do i have to give so I can TAKE?
i'm longing for your eternal gift
i want to feel warmth.
i want to be full.
i want to feel what you can't stop taking
But take MORE
so i can feel your warmth.
forever full, never empty
forever giving but NEVER taking...
forever cold...
it's ETERNAL
Item description: A beige bowl covered in blue vertical stripes which dripped from the paint going all along its wavy brim, where an uneven black heart is attached. Folded white paper notes fill up the bowl. Raised behind the bowl is an uncrumpled notebook paper torn at the top, which contains a poem and a small pencil drawing of the bowl at its bottom left corner.
