Artists' statement:
We grew devil’s claw to give away to our community, because this is a plant that our Ft. Mojave tribal elders remember people collecting when they were children, but now it is extinct in our area. You can eat the seeds, and use the husk to make coil baskets. It’s an amazing plant.
