Still life style composition of a tabletop mirror reflecting part of Roy Liechtenstein's "That's the Way it Should Have Begun! But it's Hopeless" image. The Liechtenstein image is on a book and under it are scatter three postcards and a lemon. The background is in the style of a quick sketch study. The erratic lines suggest the outline of a vase ( on the right) and a piece of notebook paper ( on the left). Over lapping hatch marks with various densities create the table top surface and general spacial depth for the still life.
Palette: black and blue on white.
