First section of a 3 piece spread that together illustrates the movement of a red oxide pigment across the sand as the tide/waves move in and out. Total piece is comprised of 15 images. (from the same vantage point) on 3 sheets of paper. This piece has 4 complete image and 3" of the proceeding image. The full images show the ocean tide/wave as they move across the the pit filled w/ the pigment. In the last full image, the wave has completely covered the pigment. There is a mountain in the background.
