Each year Gifts of Art presents an exhibition of artwork by Michigan Medicine faculty, staff, learners, volunteers and family members. It showcases the exceptional talent, creativity and accomplishments of artists in the extensive (~29,000) Michigan Medicine community. JURORS - Nan Plummer & Maggie Spencer - Nan Plummer has served in leadership roles for many arts organizations, beginning at Artrain, where she was assistant and then executive director. At the University of Michigan Museum of Art, she was assistant director for programs and associate director of the Museum Practice Program. She served the Toledo Museum of Art as programs administrator and then head of education, and the Arkansas Arts Center as executive director. Nan also led LexArts, the arts council and united arts fund for Central Kentucky (president and CEO). Nan is currently executive director of the Treeline Conservancy in Ann Arbor and owner of 22 North Gallery in Ypsilanti. She majored in art history at Mount Holyoke College and holds the MA and PhD in history of art and the MBA from the University of Michigan. Maggie Spencer is Director of Operations at Riverside Arts Center and Assistant Curator at 22 North Gallery, in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
