In retirement, Bill Franz bought a camera, learned how to use it, and started doing volunteer photography projects for local nonprofits. After years of volunteer photography, he started a project of his own – photographing people at work. Over the years he has photographed hundreds of workers of all kinds. This exhibition shows 26 of those workers with jobs starting with the letters from A (Accordionist) to Z (Zookeeper). The project took six months to complete and was done in collaboration with Bill’s 101 year old father-in-law, Wally Willaman, who has memory loss. Working together on this project was a great way for Bill and Wally to spend time together.
