As snow and ice melt away, Spring beckons and awakens my winter-dulled senses. The smell of wet earth and dampness, the ping-ping-ping of water droplets, and the cold/warm/cold of the day as it passes. Spring brings renewal, warmth, and a sense of hope and rebirth, and is my happy time of the year.
