Part of my slime mold series, this piece is based on the fruiting bodies of Arcryia denudata, a type of slime mold that, to me, pink cotton candy (candyfloss).
In this series of work, I digitally recreate the slime mold forms and generate multiple shallow depth of field images that are then stacked and blended to create the final appearance.
