Just a memory from a recent trip to San Miguel, Cozumel. Although the city may have been worn and dusty, the people and place showed a fearless love for color. This city scene came at nightfall and the vermillion red was like a beacon to my eyes. The shopkeeper, somewhere between being bored and being content, was a subtle contrast against the striking red. I still wonder what she was thinking.
