A painting of a Cathedral stone carving, thought by some to represent a pilgrim, flanked by two gold pilgrim badges.
The scallop shell, associated with pilgrimages along the Way of St James to the shrine of Saint James at Santiago de Compostela, is also found on the west front of the Cathedral. The new pilgrim badge depicting St Hugh and his swan was designed by jeweller Lexi Dick in 2015.
