This work dwells in the subtle interaction between body, surface, and material. Oil pigment stick has been delicately rubbed onto the top of wax pastel, revealing an ethereal dialogue between the surface and the material. The surface oscillates between presence and disappearance, matte and luminous, smooth and raw. Through acts of covering and uncovering, I aim to expose the quiet tension between material persistence and bodily vulnerability.
