Redwall Cavern is the largest of the caves in the Grand Canyon. The cave is a highlight of the trip down the Colorado River, used for play, music, meditation,
perhaps for lunch or shelter from a storm. Lesch took 200 photographs to create this composite, attempting to capture the past, present and future of the cave. Another version of this photo is in the collection of the Center for Contemporary Photography at the UA.
