David Andres is the Director of the Louis Carlos Bernal Gallery at Pima Community College. To make this monotype, he photographed images while scuba diving in the Sea of Cortez north of San Carlos, Mexico. He made contour drawings from the photographs, then applied oil ink on a Plexiglass plate that he ran through a press. To finish the work he added soft pastel.
