Marvin Lowe’s work has been included in over two hundred national, international, and invitational exhibitions; he has had forty-eight one-person shows, and has received thirty-one awards including a National Endowment for the Arts Artists’ Fellowship in 1975 and a Ford Foundation Fellowship in 1979. He is represented in eighty-three museum, university and corporate collections including the British Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Brooklyn Museum, and the National Collection of Fine Arts of the Smithsonian Institution.
