Marvin Lowe is a internationally known artist whose works include the use of mixed-media, collage and printmaking. His work is included in over two hundred national, international, and invitational exhibitions. Marvin has participated in United States Information Agency shows in Latin America, Japan, Russia, and most of the countries of Europe. Marvin has had forty-eight one-person shows and has received thirty-one awards including a National Endowment for the Arts Artists’ Fellowship in 1975 and a Ford Foundation Fellowship in 1979.

Lowe studied under famed printmaker Mauricio Lasansky at the University of Iowa.

Lowe was a Professor of Art at Indiana University from 1968-1992.
