Dave moved from Philadelphia to Tucosn in 1972 with his wife and two young children to begin his medical practice. When he retired from urology in 2000, he decided to pursue another one of his lifelong interests - painting.

He started taking classes at the Tucson Museum of Art, and has also studed with several local artists.

Tucson's scenery and quality of light has a special attraction for those who have art in their soul, and many artists have located there, making Tucson an artist's haven.

Dave experiments in many forms of art and has been invited to contribute to local charitable auctions. His art can also be found in private collections.

Although art is a large part of his life, duplicate bridge is another passion, and Dave can be found at the local bridge clubs when he is not painting.
