In this series typography becomes the main focus of the work. Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable and appealing when displayed. The artist is acting as a graphic designer, in a sense, arranging phrases on top of photographs, abstract art, or on paper and cardboard and then abstracting it with overlapping text. The message is not easily legible but it's there, in plain view, straight forward and powerful.
In this specific work, a vibrant pink box serves as the substrate and background. Ready for framing. It will enhance any interior space and will sure start a conversation.
