Like in a fairy tale this woman is moved to enter the portal. It's a piece that prompts the question, where is she going? Is it a good place or a bad one? What will she find? I thought a lot about my 17-year old daughter venturing off on her own as I painted this piece. I love the colors, the touches of oil pastel and the frame.
