A broken landscape made of bones and debris. The survivor is bending down to gather strength, a totem thrust into the ground where night meets the day.
„Tending to the light“ is about the survivors who carry on after life has hit hard, a theme that keeps recurring in my paintings probably because I am a descendent of a holocaust survivor. I keep thinking about the many people who face destruction these days, people that carry on, people tending to the light.
