Johnson Brothers is the name of several different companies, but most commonly refers to the British tableware manufacturer founded by brothers Alfred and Frederick Johnson in 1883. Known for their "semi-porcelain," they were acquired by Wedgwood in 1968 but continue to produce popular china patterns like Friendly Village. Another Johnson Brothers is a large US beverage distributor that started in 1953.
