John Baeder is a master Photorealist painter, known for his iconic paintings of American roadside diners, born in 1938 and raised in Atlanta. After working as an advertising art director, he began a full-time art career in 1972, becoming a leading figure of the Photorealism movement. His art is heavily influenced by his lifelong fascination with Americana, vintage postcards, and classic cars, and he now also creates stand-alone photographic works.
