Artist Statement:
Seven years ago, I took an acrylics class at our senior center. I posted my paintings on Facebook just for fun. I was shocked when friends asked to buy them. Thanks, kind friends! I call myself an “Artist by Surprise” because I really can’t draw. I never imagined I’d have the fun of painting almost every day.
I’ve sold over 900 pieces of art through galleries, art shows, art festivals, and my online presence. Kids are quite drawn to my creations; it’s an honor to have my art in their bedrooms. Lots of grownups appreciate my work too, especially those who like folk art.
