This light sculpture uses generative lighting to reflect the ephemeral nature of the PNW rainforest’s ecosystem, capturing moments of flux within the forest. The piece utilizes optical materials to refract light, creating a sense of depth and movement that mirrors the changing environment. Two selection of video from the installation play together to evoke the larger work, Specimens of Time: Burn.
