Ocean is a disabled poet and novelist living in the Pacific Northwest. His poetry, essays and fiction have appeared in numerous literary magazines; he has received a Whiting Foundation Grant, a MacArthur Foundation Sponsored Residency, and other awards; and attended residencies at Yaddo, The Headlands Center for the Arts, and others. www.mirrorflower.org
