Item description: Two boats with figures punting, one boat full of cargo (sticks?), with trees and either a sun or full moon in the background.
This piece is number 32 in Hiroshige's series Sixty-nine Stations of the Kisokaido Road. It is a series of ukiyo-e prints, each one depicting a different location of a post office on the Kisokaido Road. The series was a collaboration with Keisei Eisen, who produced twenty-three of the seventy print. Eisen produced the first twenty-three of the series, after which Hiroshige took over.
