Artist: Jaune Quick-to-See Smith (Native American (French-Cree, Shoshone, and Salish), b. 1940)
Jaune Quick-to-See Smith creates paintings and drawings that reflect her childhood where art and horses were equally significant. Her paintings of landscapes depict tepees, tools, pottery and other Indian artifacts. Later in her career she began to embellish her artwork by incorporating collage elements.
