Nu Art A Facts (pronounced new artifacts) A genre coined by Gary Gee—this body of work blends non-functional ceramics and mixed media with the spirit of hip-hop, historical reflection, and cultural symbolism. Each piece operates as a sculptural archive—part testimony, part remix, part resistance. Rooted in street aesthetics but elevated through fine art language, Nu Art A Facts is a visual vernacular that reclaims narrative control and honors Black stories through form, texture, and coded language.
