Artist Prefers they be sold as a set for $1500.00 Navigating Self is an abstract painting and ceramic sculpture intentionally created as a pair. Both the painting and the sculpture have a painted seam. This seam is a reflection of holding space for the parts of me I’ve kept stuffed internally. Navigating Self is representative of showing my full self, and that “imperfections” are still lovable. Creating ceramic sculptures have been a mirror for me to reflect on my physical and emotional development. The more sculptures I create the more I love the curvature of my own vessel.
